Personal data and cookies

This website sets no cookies and no trackers, collects no personal data when you browse it, and serves its fonts from its own domain: when a page is displayed, nothing is loaded from a third party. This is why no consent banner is shown: there is nothing to consent to. The only communication to a third party is the one you trigger yourself by sending the request form; it is described in the next paragraph.

If you write to us, including through the request form (territory and email address), your address and message are used only to reply to you, and kept for at most three (3) years after the last exchange. Requests sent through the form reach us by email via FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which routes the message and does not keep it. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability over your data: write to the data protection officer at the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (cnil.fr).

Residents of Québec have the rights provided by the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, exercised at the same contact address, and may lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

Privacy policy: the platform and the leads

The app.loadsahead.com platform is reserved for clients under contract. What we keep there: the accounts of authorised users (name, business email), the information each client entrusts to it (territory, notes, records), and technical logs kept for at most 365 days. This information is used solely to provide the contracted service; it is neither sold nor used for any other purpose. At the end of a contract, the information entrusted by the client is returned to them or destroyed within sixty (60) days.

The leads we deliver concern companies. When they mention a person, it is solely to identify them in their role: name, title, function and business contact details, drawn from public sources whose licence permits commercial use, and nothing else about the person. Anyone mentioned may ask for their information to be corrected or removed by writing to the officer at the address above. In the U.S. states that regulate the sale of personal data by data brokers (California, Vermont, Texas, Oregon, and, ahead of their 2027 laws, Connecticut and New Jersey), our leads name no individual: they give only the role to ask for.

Data hosting: the application is served by Vercel (United States) and the database is held by Supabase, with storage in Canada. These providers act as processors, bound by data protection agreements. In the event of a data breach presenting a risk to individuals, we notify the competent authority and the persons concerned, and we keep the incident register required by law.

Nature of the service and liability

LOADSAHEAD provides leads: company records drawn from public sources, a dated event, contact details checked at the time of delivery, and suggested approaches. These elements are provided for information and as an aid to prospecting, "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose. A contact detail may change after verification; an event may be cancelled or changed; a company may have no need. No result is guaranteed: no contact, no meeting, no load, no contract, no revenue. The exclusivity we advertise means only that LOADSAHEAD will not deliver the same lead to another buyer during the stated period; it does not guarantee that the company is not already being approached by others.

The suggested outlines that accompany a lead (possible opening, likely objection, notes) are suggestions only, a starting point built from the facts of the lead. They are not legal, business or financial advice, not instructions, and not statements made on behalf of LOADSAHEAD. The buyer of the leads, and any person who calls, writes to or meets a company on the basis of a lead, is solely responsible for what they say, for their commitments, rates and delivery times, and for any promise made to a shipper or a third party. It is up to them to adapt, verify and, if they see fit, not use the suggestions provided.

LOADSAHEAD is not a party to any agreement, contract, load, invoice or dispute between the buyer of the leads and a company contacted, and takes no part in negotiation, performance or payment. Any claim by a shipper, carrier or third party relating to a service, a promise, a delay, damage or billing is the sole responsibility of the buyer of the leads, who shall indemnify and hold harmless LOADSAHEAD and YC INTELLIGENCE against any such claim.

The buyer of the leads is solely responsible for complying with the laws that apply to their prospecting, in every territory where they call or write: in particular, in the United States, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule and the National Do Not Call Registry, as well as state laws; in Canada, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, the CRTC Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules and the National Do Not Call List; everywhere, the rules on privacy, competition and the practice of freight brokerage or intermediation. They keep their own suppression lists and honour without delay any request not to be contacted again.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the liability of YC INTELLIGENCE, its officers, employees and providers, whatever the cause, is limited to the amount actually paid by the buyer for the leads giving rise to the claim during the preceding twelve (12) months, and excludes any indirect damage and any loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity. These provisions supplement, and do not replace, the terms of the contract entered into with each buyer, which prevail in the event of conflict.
